Virgie Linn, 77 of 819 S. Washington St, died Sunday in a Cincinnati, Ohio nursing home. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a retired sales clerk of Fanny Bee Dress Shop. Born Aug 13, 1899 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Arnett and Etta Sampson Ivan Starnes (sic). She was married to Charles Linn. Survivors are two sons, James of Cincinati and William of Wilmington, Del; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Wheeler, Mrs. Ioma Shepard and Mrs. Pauline Weaver all of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Eva Lind of California; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Powers Funeral Home with Rev. John Glosser officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. A family spokesman asks that donations be made to the First Christian Church. - kbz
